Why HamAva?

HamAva offers a well-organized and comprehensive training program that adheres to the curriculum established by prominent psychoanalytic institutes worldwide. The faculty at HamAva includes Farsi-speaking Iranian psychotherapists and psychoanalysts, as well as international faculty members trained abroad.

The institute hosts innovative psychoanalytic workshops and conferences featuring guest speakers from around the globe. Recent speakers have included Richard Gartner, who spoke on the sexual abuse of boys, and Ghislaine Boulanger, who discussed adult trauma. Upcoming events will feature Mark Epstein, focusing on Buddhism and Psychoanalysis; Judith Herman, covering trauma; and Alessandra Lemma, who will address body states.

Importantly, HamAva is the only institute in Iran that offers a two-year program dedicated to Women and Psychoanalysis.
